Current and future research efforts are purposely targeted to cross into multiple Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) agencies. The Center is currently supporting research efforts for U.S Army White Sands Missile Range, U.S Army Space and Missile Defense Command and U.S Customs & Border Protection. The Center is seeking and encourages classified work and has developed the infrastructure to support these efforts. Efforts are also underway to quickly expand into service for the U.S Army Medical Command community. In addition, the potential exists to expand to other regionally located border security and homeland defense agencies such as Holloman Air Force Base, Future Forces Integrated Division at Ft. Bliss, other Border Patrol sectors, and even into National Labs (Sandia and Los Alamos). CDSR focuses on applied solutions to contemporary requirements as identified by the customer.
